Back in 2009 Petros had a steady job in Naxos, but he was feeling something missing from his life, something he couldn’t explain… The apocalypse happened when he saw a kitesurfer for the first time. It was exciting! And many more feelings came through directly leading to ordering the kiteboarding equipment. Without any kite instruction available, he faced a real challenge: teaching himself. It was a hard start, but coming from a local sailors family he found his language with the elements. Commitment and awareness of the dangers led to slowly mastering kiteboarding. Soon he also started teaching kitesurfing to his friends to share this amazing feeling. Realizing how many people are interested in the sport, he decided to quit his job and launch a new project of a lifetime – his own kitecenter Naxos Kitelife.
